Gavin Orsetti

Born in Canada and raised in the Greater Vancouver region of British Columbia, I have always enjoyed the beauty of the natural world. Like many of my peers, I grew up camping and hiking around the majestic forests, lakes, and mountains of BC and over time I developed a fondness for the tranquility that nature inspires. While my photography does not often feature the BC landscapes responsible for that sentiment, I strive to capture the feeling of tranquility in most of my images so that others can experience and treasure it as I do.

As I learned about the powerful effects that photography can have spaces and the people in them, I also observed those around me who struggled in the workplace due to stress, anxiety, and physical or emotional exhaustion. We all need to work, but our work environments shouldn't add to our stress. Through my images I hope to help businesses create more comfortable workplaces, improving the mental health and clarity of their staff.
